Diddy’s Courtroom Charm: A Surprise Laugh Amid Serious Charges

By - Mahi

Sean "Diddy" Combs declined to testify as his defense rested its case without calling any witnesses on June 24.

Judge Arun Subramanian asked Combs how he was feeling during Tuesday’s court proceedings in New York.

Diddy smiled and replied, “I’m doing great, your honor. Thank you, you’re doing an excellent job.”

The judge laughed at Combs’ unexpected compliment—adding a surprising moment of levity to the serious trial.

The defense rested its case in just 23 minutes, reading text messages exchanged between Diddy and Cassie.

One message from Diddy read, “You think you can [Freak-Off] without getting high? Lol,” followed by Cassie's calm reply.

The prosecution called 34 witnesses over 29 days, including Cassie, who accused Diddy of long-term abuse.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and other charges. Jury deliberations could start next week.
